During lockdown we helped the Buckie Kindness Group on a Saturday Afternoon by providing our coach as a mobile food bank collection point, the group received a steady demand for emergency care packages and donation from the public.
We used one of our Mercedes Tourismo’s as the mobile collection point- as seen in the photos below.
Maynes partnered up with the Buckie Kindness Group in order to collect donations that would allow the group to offer a lifeline that was essential to recipients. Our involvement with the scheme increased the yield of donations received by bringing the collection point to high traffic hotspots within the community, helping the most vulnerable and in-need members of our community.
We are glad to have been able to give back to our local area in the hard times of the Covid-19 pandemic and are thankful to the members of the public who supported ourselves and the Buckie Kindness Group during this venture.
