The company’s directors are Kevin Mayne and David Mayne. This is in addition to the other five family members who work within the company. Everyone displays strong family values and ethics, which has been the same since 1947. These values are respected by employees and has resulted in us having a large amount of long serving team members. The long-standing history with our employees is not only a result of the welcoming environment which we provide, but the continuous in-depth training which is delivered from the heart of the company.

All our drivers are highly trained professionals and have experience in all types of private hire, conference and tour work. Many of our drivers have been with our company for up to 20 years and we are proud of the many requests and compliments we receive for them. Our driving team is supported 24/7 by our operations team to ensure that your safety and enjoyment is first and foremost.

Every one of our drivers goes through a detailed selection procedure to ensure that we employ those with experience and professionalism, we choose drivers with the right personality that ensures that our customers receive the kind of care and attention to detail they deserve. We make sure all our staff have the passion and the drive for coaching and satisfying the clients.
All our driving team goes through a stringent in-house training plan, undergoing approximately 17 hours training per year from basic safety procedures to defensive and interactive driving tests. All our drivers are provided with a full company uniform, and we check our driver’s history by undertaking a full disclosure check as well as having a drivers licence checked by the DVLA yearly ensuring they have the full licence entitlement for the type of vehicle they are likely to drive. We strongly believe in not only investing in quality vehicles, but quality staff- from the workshop to the office.

 

Coach Tour Drivers

Required to be part of our team working with the most well-known tour operators within the UK, applicants need to be experienced in all aspects of UK and European touring, you need to be flexible and understand the needs of our clients from throughout the UK as well all the incoming market, you will be working on a 6 out of 7 basis full time, or on a freelance / seasonal basis.

Contract and private hire drivers

Required to be part of our team working within our growing client base, most work will contain schools and local hires with the opportunity of gaining tour driving experience through our inhouse training system; you can be on a 6 out of 7 basis or Monday to Friday only if you wish.

Part-time Drivers

To cover Monday to Friday school days only for home to school transport contracts, or on an on-call basis to cover private hire and local school hires as well as private hire and tour driving.
