Our Company cares for the precious environment that we live in, our coach fleet now all dates from no older than 2005. This ensures that our coaches meet the current European emission laws with our whole fleet having a minimum of the Euro 3 smoke emissions and our more recent additions meeting both Euro 4 and Euro 5 legislation.
Travelling by coach is the most environmentally friendly form of public transport. So you are assured that when you travel the Mayne way you are reducing your carbon footprint.
During 2008 we had our whole fleet fitted with GPS tracking devices to ensure that your journey is completed in the most fuel efficient way. Our company also aims to eliminate excessive idling of our coaches when stationary saving both fuel and the environment, also reducing our own company’s carbon footprint.
Our company has already one of the lowest levels of carbon emissions within the UK coach industry, but we understand the importance of reducing ours further. Statistics taken from the department for transport shows that coach travel is one of the most environmentally friendly forms of transport.
